When any NFU changes hands — an individual item (L7) or a hierarchy position (L2–L6) — the XRP Ledger automatically withholds a protocol transfer fee (set at NFU creation and encoded in the token) and routes it to the issuing wallet. The platform then distributes it to region, country, district, category and sub-category node holders, founder tiers, the platform and a discretionary allocation. Transfer fees from XRP resales on external XRPL venues (XRPL DEX, NFTmaster, Bithomp) that the platform's scanner detects are distributed the same way. Every payment is recorded on the ledger.
